Great Baby Room Pictures

I recently came across a great site that has a lot of photos of nurseries so that you can get some ideas how to decorate your baby's room. The site is called decor pad. It's a site dedicated to help you decorate your home. It's intended to provide you with creative inspiration and help in choosing paint colors.

It's free to register with decor pad. Users get to not only view pictures of home decor on the site, but also can submit photos of their own decorating projects. Here is a screen shot of several of the nursery room images shared on decor pad:

Updated My Nursery Themes for Girls Site

I just recently updated my Nursery Themes for Girls lens on my Squidoo account.

I hand picked some of my favorite nursery crib bedding sets and put on this page. I have two girls and wish I could redo their room each month so I could rotate all of these adorable, and some even sophisticated baby girl nursery themes.

Among some of the newly added crib bedding sets is this adorable contemporary style floral crib bedding set by Nursery-to-Go. I love the modern pistachio green in this set. The sophisticated green is complimented by chocolate brown and punches of perfectly girly pink. This nursery theme set has many of accessories available that match, such as a lamp and artworld. It's an affordable yet stylish nursery theme for your precious little girl.

Ladybug Nursery Decor

I love ladybugs. They are so cute and they're benefitial to your flower beds and gardens. I think that ladybugs make an adorable nursery theme for baby girls.

A ladybug nursery can be done in soft pastels with pink as the main color, like this adorable crib bedding set from KidsLine. I especially love the switch plate cover and night light that coordinate with this set. It's all so cute and extremely feminine.

A ladybug nursery can also be done with a country or even shabby chic flare, like with this ladybug crib bedding set by MIGI. This crib comforter is sewn as a traditional square patchwork quilt. I really like the curtains and bed skirt that go with this set. I like how it resembles a natural meddow.

Of course, if you want a bold nursery you could do a ladybug themed nursery in red, black, and white, which would look super sharp with a black crib and matching black furniture.

I've seen ladybug nurserys done in pastel pink, yellow, and green. I've also seen a few ladybug crib bedding sets in purple. So, if you like ladybugs, but didn't like the idea of a red nursery, there is a ladybug crib bedding set out there in feminine colors that will appeal to you. Just shop around and fine something that tickles your fancy. I think ladybugs make an adorable nursery theme for baby girls.

Go Wild with a Jungle Theme Nursery

I could easily start off this blog with a basic sports themed nursery for a boy and a princess themed nursery for a girl, but where's the fun in that? Instead my very first post is going to be about decorating a jungle themed nursery.

I did my son's nursery in a jungle theme. I chose it because I don't like blue (to me blue is sad, reminding me of a rainy day) and because I love animals. I wanted his room to be playful and bright, so I went with the Fisher Price Rainforest bedding. We painted his room in Sherwin Williams Cashmere paint in "Dancing Green" and I'm really pleased how it turned out. It's a bright and cheery green, without being a primary green.

Since he was born, many different other jungle and safari themed crib bedding sets have come out. There is so much to choose from.
