Ladybug Nursery Decor

I love ladybugs. They are so cute and they're benefitial to your flower beds and gardens. I think that ladybugs make an adorable nursery theme for baby girls.

Go Wild with a Jungle Theme Nursery

I could easily start off this blog with a basic sports themed nursery for a boy and a princess themed nursery for a girl, but where's the fun in that? Instead my very first post is going to be about decorating a jungle themed nursery.

I did my son's nursery in a jungle theme. I chose it because I don't like blue (to me blue is sad, reminding me of a rainy day) and because I love animals. I wanted his room to be playful and bright, so I went with the Fisher Price Rainforest bedding. We painted his room in Sherwin Williams Cashmere paint in "Dancing Green" and I'm really pleased how it turned out. It's a bright and cheery green, without being a primary green.

Since he was born, many different other jungle and safari themed crib bedding sets have come out. There is so much to choose from.
